Happy St. Patrick’s Day weekend! Any holiday where we celebrate by wearing green (the most underrated clothing color) and drinking a lot of beer and whiskey is a holiday we can get behind here at The Dent. We sometimes call drinking excessively while wearing a green top hat and a necklace of 4 leaf clovers Thursday afternoon, but it’s a nice change of pace when we don’t get the side eye when we place our first drink order at 10 am.
Vegas loves a good theme, so it’s a great place to be during St. Patrick Day weekend. This year, it doesn’t
Hennessey’s Tavern
Lets first start the party on Fremont Street by hitting Hennessy’s Tavern. They host a St. Patricks Block Party and Music Fest including green beer and of course shenanigans. Bands headline Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and the green beer and Worlds Largest Pint will be flowing all weekend.
O’Shea’s Casino @ The Linq
You know the party is going to be hopping when the entire year leads to this. On a normal day you will see pots of gold and leprechauns hanging about, but on St. Patty’s Day, the party hit full throttle. They offer 50 types of beers, games, & outdoor bars. This will be the first or last stop for many party-goers, but it’s sure to be entertaining.
The entire Linq Prominode is a great place to spend St. Patrick’s Day, so if you want to be in the epi-center of the action, this could be your first and last choice.
VEGAS INSPIRED COLLECTIONS
Rock & Reilly’s
Just down the strip from MGM Grand, Rock & Reilly’s offers strong drinks and great specials. Nice patio overlooking the strip and plenty of Guinness flowing (with $7 drink specials) will ensure that Rock & Reilly’s is, well, rockin’.
Nine Fine Irishmen
This hot spot at New York-New York is always hopping. This was where I spent part of my St. Patty’s Day last year and witnessed plenty of green beer, a plethora of Jameson shots, and a full Irish parade through the Casino complete with
Rà Rá Irish Pub at Shoppes Mandalay Place
If you want a piece of the motherland, Rà Rá was built from Irish pubs from across the pond. They have the perfect selection of Irish beers and whiskey and have a full menu with the food you would expect. Want some Guiness-to-Go? The Guinness Store next door can ensure you stock up for the room and also can teach you how to perfect your Guinness pour.
McFadden’s @ Town Square
If you’ve always wondered like what a Hooters mixed with Senior Frogs would be like in Ireland, McFadden’s might be your place. The bartenders dress the part with skimpy plaid skirts and pour shots straight from the bottle.
SAVE BIG IN VEGAS
Expect a $2,500 flip cup tournament, love music, hookah, and DJ Valet spinning the teams.
