The NFL will officially be played in Las Vegas and our favorite place to watch the NFL just got a whole lot better. The Raiders have one of the best national fan bases in the NFL, so moving to the heart of a tourist destination will give Raiders fans outside of the Bay and LA areas a better chance to see their favorite team.
But this also will be a huge opportunity for every team’s fans who play in Vegas. With Allegiant Stadium just off the strip and 8 or more teams visiting LAS each year, the opportunities are endless.
We already explained which teams will be in Vegas for the opening 2020 season, but here’s the tentative schedule for the first 8 years in Vegas. In each cycle, your team will play at least one away game in Vegas (assuming none are lost to London or Mexico City, which is unlikely with the new year).
And if your team is only playing once and in a few years, don’t fear there’s always one more game based on the records of the team, so it’s always possible that your team could play in Vegas sooner than you think!
If you’re a Broncos, Chiefs, or Chargers fan, you’re in luck! You’ll be playing in Vegas each and every year! For everyone else, here’s when your team will be visiting Vegas. Some of the storied franchises will have to wait for a few years, with the Giants and Cowboys not coming till 2024 and the Packers, Vikings, and Patriots not visiting until 2023. The Green Bay Packers will also not be in Vegas till 2022 and the Steelers and Browns not visiting till 2024.
VEGAS INSPIRED COLLECTIONS
Key matchups in 2020 will include the NY Jets and New Orleans Saints, in what will certainly be Drew Brees first and last visit to Sin City. The Bears and Lions will be the longest before visiting Vegas, rounding out the 2027 season.
