So you’re a Donny Downtown? Be careful! The Las Vegas that your friends are visiting might not be where you will fit in best, you may want to take in the Vegas that the mobsters and Rat Pack called home.
Everything is a bit more down to earth on Fremont Street, from the street performers to the live music cover bands, to the more relaxes and casual nature. You will also find better odds, lower table minimums, lower fees, and overall better prices. For the Donny Downtown personality type, they will also find a better time, people that they related to, friendly dealers, and an old-school vibe.
VEGAS INSPIRED COLLECTIONS
Hotel options include classics like Golden Nugget (great food, cool pool, relaxed vibe), the D Hotel & Casino, Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino, and soon to be Circa Las Vegas, opening in 2020.
The attractions are less glitzy and include the Neon & Mob Museums, taking a picture with $1M dollars, the Shark Tank at the Golden Nugget, ziplines, and tons of street performers on Fremont. You are close to plenty of dispensaries (free rides to and from) if that’s your thing.
There are tons of awesome restaurants including Hugo’s Cellar, Top of Binion’s Steakhouse, Pizza Rock, Evel Pie, Nacho Daddy, and tons more. For you, the food on Fremont will likely be more your style: Real. Good. Food.
